Architect Viljo Revell's best known works in Finland include the Glass Palace in Helsinki, apartment buildings in Tapiola (Espoo) and the Vatiala Chapel near Tampere. Internationally he is renowned for the City Hall of Toronto, Canada.

2010 will see the centenary of Revell's birth and in honour of the event an exhibition of his works will be mounted at the Didrichsen Art Museum which he designed. This will show a selection of his buildings and projects through photographs, drawings, scale models and biographical information, as well as a documentary film based on original material.

The museum has published two books on Viljo Revell to coincide with the exhibition: Viljo Revell, "It was teamwork, you see" (Fi, Swe, Eng.) and Glimpses from Viljo Revell's life (Fi).
